These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AwardLedger ("Service"), operated by DataProducts ("we", "us", "our"), accessible at awardledger.com.

By subscribing to or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AwardLedger is a subscription-based data intelligence newsletter. We collect, analyse, and publish structured business intelligence data delivered to subscribers by email on a weekly basis.

The Service provides informational content only. Nothing published constitutes legal, financial, compliance, or professional advice.

2. Subscriptions and Payment

We offer the following subscription options:

•        Monthly subscription: $39 per month

•        Annual subscription: $390 per year

•        14-day free trial available on first signup

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

3. Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Service. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will not be charged during the trial period.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not:

•        Redistribute, resell, or republish the content to third parties

•        Use the data to build competing products or services

•        Share your account credentials with others

•        Use automated tools to scrape or extract content

•        Remove or modify any attribution or copyright notices

5. Intellectual Property

All content published through the Service is owned by or licensed to Jamal Al-Sheikhly. The underlying data is sourced from public domain and open government licence sources. Our selection, analysis, formatting, and presentation of that data is our intellectual property.

You may quote brief excerpts for commentary or reporting purposes with attribution to AwardLedger (awardledger.com).

6. Data Accuracy

We take reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of published data. However, we make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the information. Data is sourced from public regulatory and government sources and may contain errors or omissions present in those sources.

You should independently verify any data before making business decisions based on it.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AwardLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.

Our total liability in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account portal.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
